The Nile & Cairo

Travelling with us in this unique tour package is a little bit different with an authentic
experience to remember, for a couple of days your accommodation in this 8 days' tour
package will be as unique and traditional as possible.
This time you'll sail down the Nile on a traditional Egyptian felucca; sleep on deck
under the stars as the sun slides away for the day, a must-do experience while in
Egypt.

Felucca a medium small sailing boat with a mast, which was the main means of

transportation since ancient times.

Day 1:

Arrival at Cairo international airport, meet& assist by our representative, then
Transfer to your hotel in Cairo, check in and Overnight.

Day 2:

(Due to a flight very early in the morning) your breakfast in this day is
Breakfast Box – Transfer to the Airport & fly to Abu Simple – upon arrival, visit the 2
temples of Abu simbel , the great temple and the small temple, both are cut into the
rock and saved in the 60's of the last century by the Unesco, back to airport and fly to
Aswan – lunch at local Restaurant –then Visit the Philae Temple and the High Dam ,
Dinner at local restaurant, Free Tour at Aswan local Market, overnight at Hotel in
Aswan.

Day 3:

Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to the Nile Felucca, to start a wonderful
adventure on the fabled Nile River.

Important Note:
Our feluccas are to sail from Aswan to the city of Edfu (south of Luxor), taking in the
colorful sights of the Nile villages' life en route. In the 02 Nights Felucca Trip, we
have an early departure from Aswan sailing northwards with overnight stops along the
western ban of the river.

Optional Tour for this day in Aswan:
Walk through the Nubian Village to explore Nubian life, culture in a Nubian house.
Lunch & Dinner are served on board Felucca, sailing northwards to visit Kom Ombo
temple. Overnight on board your Felucca.

Day 4:

Breakfast on board , ailing northwards towards Edfu, with a stop to visit the
archeological site of Gebel IL Silsila, relax and enjoy the scenery of green fields,
houses of peasan farmers, true life in Egyptian village. Lunch & Dinner are served on
board, with a chance to enjoy dinner on one of the Nile Islands.
Overnight near the city of Edfu.

Day 5:

Breakfast on board, disembarkation the Nile felucca, and by Coach, drive to visit the
temple of Edfu, and then drive northwards to Luxor, upon arrival, Lunch at a local
restaurant, then visit the East bank of the Nile, including:
The temple of Luxor, mainly built by king Amenhotep III, with additions of king
Ramsess II and some other kings, including Alexander the Great, then proceed to visit
the largest temple ever built on earth, the Complex of Karnak temple mainly
dedicated to the worship of Amon Ra.
Transfer to your hotel in Luxor, check in, and the evening explore the famous Luxor
Market, dinner and overnight.

Day 6:

Breakfast, then start to visit the west bank of the Nile, including:
Valley of the kings (a visit to three royal tombs , except for Tut Ankh Amun, Ramsess
VI and Seti I).
Temple of queen Hatschepst at Deir IL Bahari.
Colossi of Memmnon. Stop for lunch in a local restaurant, then transfer to Luxor
airport to fly back to Cairo, upon arrival, transfer to hotel dinner and overnight.

Day 7:

Breakfast, then join your tour guide to visit one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world
(Giza Pyramids) and the Sphinx. Stop for lunch in a local restaurant. Proceed to visit
the famous Egyptian Museum of antiquities and treasures of King Tut, the drive to the
most famous medieval market in the Middle East (The Khan IL Khalili Bazaar).
Dinner at a local restaurant, then transfer back to hotel and overnight.

Day 8:

Breakfast, then transfer to Cairo airport, to fly back home.
