Cairo / Aswan-Luxor "Nile Cruise/ and Sharm IL Sheikh

Day 01:
Upon Arrival at Cairo airport, meet and assist by our representative, then transfer to your
hotel in Cairo, check in hotel dinner and overnight.
Day 02:
Breakfast, then meet your professional Egyptologist tour guide and start visiting:
The Great Giza Pyramids, which were the first of the ancient seven wonders of the ancient
world, in fact the only one still exist, know who built them? And how they were built? Stop
before the sphinx and visit the valley temple of king chephren (the builder of the 2 nd great
pyramid. Stop for lunch in a local restaurant, then drive through the streets the largest
metropolis in Africa to visit the Cairo Egyptian Museum of antiquities (home of the world's
largest collection of pharaonic antiquities " more 120 thousand unique pharaonic artifacts
"and the treasures of king Tut). Back to hotel, dinner and overnight in hotel in Cairo.
Day 03:
Breakfast then, meet your professional tour guide to start a full day tour in Cairo to visit:
- The Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali.
- Stop for Lunch in a local Restaurant.
- Proceed to visit Old Coptic Cairo, including:
- The Hanging Church.
- Abu Serga Church (Including The Crypt where The Holy Family Sheltered in).
- The Synagogue of Ben Ezra.
Proceed to visit the most famous Market in Egypt (Khan IL Khalili Bazaars) and walk
through the Streets of Islamic Cairo-, then transfer to Giza Railway station to board the
overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 04: (This Day should be Wednesday or Friday)
Breakfast on board, then upon arrival at Aswan railway station, meet your professional tour
guide to start day tour in Aswan where you visit:
The Project of the 20 th century in Egypt, which in fact a true miracle of engineering, the
Aswan High Dam.
Then, proceed to visit the temple of goddess Isis on Philae, saved and relocated from its
original site on Bigeh Island to the present location in 1980 after intensive 8 years of hard
work. Then transfer to the Nile Cruise, embarkation before lunch, after lunch, sail the river
Nile in a felucca around the Islands in Aswan. Then free time for shopping in Aswan Market,
dinner entertainment and overnight on board Nile Cruise.
Day 05:
Early morning (Suggested optional tour to visit the two rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel),
breakfast on board then afternoon sailing towards Kom Ombo, upon arrival at Kom Ombo,
visit the Temple shared by the two gods "Sobek & Haroaries", back to the Nile Cruise, lunch
& dinner / afternoon Tea / evening entertainment (Galabiyya Party) on board while sailing
northwards towards the city of Edfu.
Day 06:
Breakfast on board, then by the traditional Horse Cart (Hantour), start a visit to the temple of
Edfu (the most preserved in Egypt), back to the Nile Cruise, Lunch & Tea time on board
while sailing northwards towards Luxor via Esna Lock, crossing the Lock, to Luxor, upon
arrival at Luxor, visit in the temple of Luxor (built by king Amenhotep III, Ramsess II, and
others, then free time at Luxor Market, Dinner / evening Entertainment "Oriental Show and
overnight on board.
Day 07:
Breakfast on board, followed by disembarkation, then start with your professional tour guide
a full day guided tour in Luxor' West and East Banks to visit:
Valley of the kings (including the visit of three royal tombs).
Temple of queen Hatschepst at Deir IL Bahari and Colossi of Memmnon.
Stop for lunch in local restaurant, and then cross to the East Bank to visit the impressive
Karnak complex of Amon Ra… afterwards, transfer to your hotel in Luxor, check in and
overnight in hotel in Luxor.
Day 08:
After breakfast in hotel, you're scheduled for a morning flight Luxor/Sharm IL Sheikh, upon
arrival at Sharm IL Sheikh airport, meet and assist by our representative, and transfer to your
hotel, check in, then lunch and rest of the day free to enjoy water activities in Sharm IL
Sheikh, dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 09:
Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner (recreation and animation at Hotel)
Day free for water activities (or suggested optional desert safari tour by jeep 4x4 to the
famous canyons and Sinai Mount).
Day 10:
Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner (recreation and animation at Hotel)
Day free for water activities (or suggested optional tour for snorkeling in Ras Mohamed
Island /National Park).
Day 11:
Breakfast, free till noon, followed by check out, then transfer to Sharm IL Sheikh airport to
fly back to Cairo, upon arrival, transfer to hotel check in, and evening free at leisure, or
(suggested optional tour to attend the spectacular sound and light show at Giza Pyramids).
Overnight in hotel in Cairo.
Day 12:
Early Morning - Breakfast ,then Join your Egyptologist Tour Guide and Start to travel to
Alexandria (220 K.M North West of Cairo) a Break of Refreshment (20 Minutes halfway),
upon arrival start touring The Pearl of The Mediterranean visiting:
The Catacombs of Kom IL Shokafa (The only Surviving of its kind in Egypt).
The Pompey’s Pillar and The Serapeum of Alexandria.
Stop for Lunch in A Famous Local Sea Food Restaurant.
Proceed to visit The Citadel of Qaiet Bey (from outside). Then Montazah parks and
palace, while before returning back to Cairo stop for the famous landmark of modern
Alexandria (bibliotheca Alexandrina) , drive back to Cairo, and overnight in hotel in Cairo.
Day 13:
Breakfast at hotel, then start an amazing full day with your professional tour guide to visit:
Dahshour, including the two pyramids of king Senefru (father of Cheops the builder of the
great Giza Pyramid), here you'll experience and witness the evolution of the final attempt
towards building a true pyramid occurred at the southern of the two, known as the bent
pyramid, while the success took place in the northern one, which is the first geometrically true
pyramid and known as the red pyramid.
Proceed to visit the most important necropolis in ancient Egypt, in fact remained a burial site
throughout the 3000 years of ancient Egypt history, here you'll visit:
The step pyramid of king Zoser, which is the first pyramid in history, yet not a true one but
stepped in 6 unequal tiers or mastabas (a word means bench in Arabic), then proceed further
to the south of the step pyramid to visit another pyramid but different in style and contents,
much smaller, more ruined but famous for being the first decorated from inside, as the walls
of the inner and burial chambers are decorated in hieroglyphic writings in the so called
pyramids\ texts (a magical formula intended to ensure a safe passage to the dead king in the
afterlife).
The last stop at Sakkara will be a visit to the mastaba tomb of princess Idut, where you
wonder a full detailed of daily life scenes, such as cultivation, animal's sacrifice, aquatic life
of the river Nile once full of Hippos and crocodiles, and more.
Drive back to hotel, dinner and overnight in hotel in Cairo.
Day 14:
Breakfast at hotel, then drive and start with your professional tour guide a stunning walking
tour for the Islamic part of the city, starting with the Remarkable Museum of Islamic art, then
walk through the busy streets to stop at the Khayamiyya Market (Islamic ornamented Tent
Makers Market) then the southern Gate of Islamic Cairo known as Zuweila Gate, visit the
Elegant Mosque of AL Muyyaad Sheikh, before continuing through AL Ghoury street till the
Mosque and Mausoleum of the 16 th century Sultan AL Ghoury (the last sultan of the
Mamelouk period), then cross AL Azhar street to visit AL Moueezz Street, start with the
Mosque of Sultan Bersbay, then the Stunning complex of Sultan Qalawon, including the
mosque, Mausoleum, biemarstan(Hospital) , proceed northwards to stop by The iconic house
of the 16 th century (AL Soheimy Hose) then from the AL Aqmar mosque continue to
Souleman Agha AL Silhdar a 18 th century elegant mosque, after then you'll reach to the
Northern gates of Islamic Cairo, AL Fotouh and AL Nasr, with a visit to the Grand Mosque of
AL Hakim an 11 th century Impressive Mosque, renovated in recent years. Then pick up from
there and back to hotel, dinner and overnight in hotel in Cairo.
Day 15:
Breakfast, then transfer to Cairo airport to fly back home.
